when you send a message from your own email program.
Q. Where do I receive emails from other members?
A. All emails from other members are sent to the email address you registered
with. A copy is also available for viewing in your FloridaLuv.com inbox
Also, due to your email providers automatic blocking and filtering, receiving
your email is not guaranteed, or can be delayed. Not to worry, though.
All of your emails sent and received within the last 30 days can be viewed
in your FloridaLuv.com Mailbox.
Q. How do I stop someone from emailing me?
A. You can stop someone from emailing you by going to the Blocking Section
in Account Settings at the top of every page. Just enter the username
of the person you want to block, and select the appropriate box for email
blocking.
Q. I just want to search for people. Why should I create a profile?
A. You’re here to meet people and a profile helps you do that. Filling
out a profile will allow us to find members who are right for you, and
make sure you’re right for them. You’ll also be able to start
contacting members who strike your fancy. Not to mention, it’s the
only way other members can find you. So what have you got to lose, besides
more nights cuddling with your pillow? Post your profile today.
Q. What is the process for creating a profile?
A. To create your profile, just log in and click on My Profile at the
top of any page. It’s fun, quick, and easy. And remember, no one
likes a boring profile. Have some fun with it. Be creative. You’re
here to meet people, so make them want to meet you. This is also where
you can add a photo to your profile, which gets members up to 15 times
more attention. Finally, whenever you’re finished hyping yourself
up, just hit the "Send for approval" button.
So post your pics. Be creative. But keep it clean. The FloridaLuv.com
team reviews every profile (yes, even yours) before they’re viewable
on the site. So it might take anywhere from 12-48 hours before your new
profile is available for viewing. We’ll let you know via email after

Q. Can I hide my profile so other members can’t see it?
A. You can take a break by hiding your profile at any time. Just log in
and click on My Profile at the top of any page, and make the appropriate
selection under Options. But remember…you never know when that one
perfect match might be looking for you!
Q. Looks aren’t everything. Why should I post a photo to my profile?
A. Say what you will, but guys are 14 times more likely to look at a profile
with a photo. Women are 8.5 times more likely to look at your profile
if you have a pic. And members with photos get up to 15 times more attention
than those without one. So you can be nice and funny or you can be nice,
funny, and get more attention by adding your photo today
Q. What does Online Now mean?
A. FloridaLuv.com has developed a feature to allow you to see which of
your fellow FloridaLuv.com members have been on the site recently. Generally
speaking, if Online Now is indicated on a member's profile, it means that
that member has been active on the site within the last hour. However,
from time-to-time, system delays may postpone the regular refreshing of
the Online Now indicator, and it may have been more than one hour since
that member has been active on the site.
Q. How do I send a Kiss to let a person know I’m interested?
A. Don’t worry, we’ll help you break out of that shell. Send
a Kiss by clicking the send kiss icon in a member’s profile. They'll
instantly know you'd like to know them better. Remember, your profile
has to be visible to send a kiss. Now go get ‘em
Q. How do I change my username, password or email address?
A. It’s easy to change any of your account information, at any time.
Just visit the "My Profile" section in the Account Settings
link at the top of every page.
